For example, equipping the Viper King’s armour is more likely to scare Vipers. This armour gives your character a higher chance of causing the corresponding Ruler’s subordinates to panic. The new DLC also comes with three new armour sets, which players have to create with Ruler aliens’ corpses. The catch, there’s only one of each weapon and should a soldier equipped with one dies, you must carry their corpse to the Skyranger or risk losing them permanently. The ShadowKeeper pistol, a gun guaranteed to hit and conceal your character if you kill an enemy with it and the Frost Bomb grenade, which freezes targets but only temporarily. The Hunter’s Axe, a new blade weapon that can be thrown.
The four new weapons include the Bolt Caster, which delivers high damage in single-shots. Due note, the Rulers only show up for a limited time, after that they will exit the map and return later in another mission. All of which appear at random with their own tactics throughout the campaign, after completing the new DLC mission. The new Rulers include the Viper King, the Berserker Queen and the Archon King. The # new DLC Alien Hunters adds new # campaign content, a new #mission, weapons and armor, plus a new update to the Avenger’s Armory called “Hunter’s Lodge.” Also expect to go up against three new “Ruler” aliens in combat. XCOM 2 players will have a new DLC next week for Linux, Mac and Windows PC.
